Black Squares part 2

Order
This picture has grown stronger by using more squares and more of the paper, instead of a small boring line.

Increase
To make this stronger I just added a second row, in the frist one I only had 1 row of 4 but now I have 2 rows of 4.

Bold
I added a few more squares and moved them closer to make it a black shape all together.

Congested
This design grew a lot. I added more squares and stacked some on top of eachother.

Tension
This grew by making it a bigger image in all. I made 2 straight lines and pulled 1 square in each line out to make it look like they were falling out and that added some tension too the photo.

Playful
this grew becuase I added 1 more square and changed up the design a little.

  1. Thanks for explaining what process you used to make the design stronger, but you didn't explain the Gestalt principles: 4. ALSO, include an explanation of which Gestalt principles you used and how it makes your design stronger (balance, compositional space, contrast, depth, direction/movement, dominance/emphasis, pattern, proportion, rhythm, shape, texture, unity).
