I chose this photo because of how simple it is but yet it looks complex. For this photo it looks like the photographer just simply took some forks, put them against the wall, and put a light up. He also probably played with the lighting and angles a lot.

Photo Critique

 Ami

This picture of ami's view while canoeing at her grandmas house. I slected this picture because I like the nature, and how the tree is reflecting onto the water. I also like that she said she was going to take a picture of water but she included other thiings, like the trees. The principal of composition it showsis reflection, by the tree reflecting on the water. Ami said that this was he favorite.This photo inspires me to take more open nature pictures.

• One of the Principles of Composition I used was vanishing point. It's evident in the road photo.

• My favorite photo I shot was the coffee photo because i like how theres a shadow ring around the coffee cup.

• My least favorite photo I shot was of my cats because it just wasn't how I wanted it.

• During this assignment, I was challenged by trying to get the right angle.

• During this assignment, I liked how we could use our own creativity.

I chose this pumkin becuase it was growing in my garden, and I thought that was pretty cool. I took the photo using my phone, I changed up the angles and in some photos, I did use the flash. The green on the pumpkin got a little lighter, and the pumkin itself got bigger. My favorite picture is day 6 (November 2nd) because its still attached to the vine and I like how it stretched over the pumpkin. 

Euroption Expirement and Action Photography

My Lava Lamp with Keytin and Jamison(even though he wasn't here)

I captured this photograph by taking my time at pouring in the water, and Keytin took the photo she used the action setting on her camera. At first a dropped the water in the oil to test it and get the bubbles. Then I slowly poured all the water in the bottle. For lightnh since we didn't use the flash, we had 2 lights, 1 in the back and 1 in the front.

One of the strengths in my eruption experiment action photo was it had good buble effect and the lighting reflected very well.

One of the challenges for my eruption experiment action photo was trying to find the perfect lighting and best angle.

In the future, I would overcome the above challenge by positioning the lighting first, and taking practice shots.

Dave Black and Action Photography

Who is the photographer? Dave Black

What does he shoot photos of? He takes picture of sports, light photography, and more

Where does he shoot the photos? Basically everywhere. He goes to sporting events to take his sports pictures.

When did he shoot the photos? All seasons, during the morning or early afternoon.

How is his style special/original? He takes picture of mainly sports.

Why is this person famous for his photography? It captures a special moment of the sport/action.

I think Dave Black took this photo  by using time-lapse. After taking the picture he had to choose the one who spoke to him, or the best looking one. He had to really foucus on keeping it clear and not blurry.

If you could ask one question about his/her technique, what would it be? How do you staying so steady and keep the picture clear and not blurry?

5 Tips on taking action photos:

• Plan ahead 
• Give the subject space to move
• FOCUS!!
• Take many photos and choose the one that stands out to you 
• Focus on lighting

Action photos I will attempt:

• People- I would take the picture inside or outside of them walking or running. I would have to give the person room to walk.

• Vehicles-I would take the pictures outside of driving on the roads. I would need to plan ahead so the roads are not to busy.

• Flowers/leaves blowing in the wind-I would take the picture outside.I would have to focus on the main flower so I could get a clear shot. 

• CATS!- I would take the picture of my cats ruuning or even eating. I would need to focus on lighting so you can see the cats face.

• Liquid pouring- I would take a picture of someone else pouring water, pop, or milk. I would take many pictures so I could find that perfect look.
